Obviously we all wish we had a gigantic, beautifully color coded closet like Bethenny Frankel's in the image above and here. But the rest of the universe isn't quite so lucky. For example, I live in Manhattan which means that I have to share one closet in the bedroom with my husband. I have one half and he has the other.
The arrival of spring has done wonders for all of us New Yorkers. Everyone seems a lot less bitter and sometimes we even smile at each other on the street (gasp!).
Today is my husband's birthday. He told me "not to make a big deal of it" but since when do I ever listen to him? (Kidding! But he's amazing and I have to honor him on his birthday in some way!).
I want to share a story about Anel (his name which is pronounced like Chanel).
This vegan basil pesto recipe is without a doubt, the best thing that I make. Hands down. In the spring and summer, I make this pesto every single week and save it and eat it almost daily. It's so ridiculously good, there are no words. We eat it on gluten free pasta, as a spread on sandwiches, in salad dressings, to marinate fish or chicken, or to dip carrots in for a snack.
I look at these photos and think of a pineapple on a fruity drink...and I love it. The purple shoes, the turquoise baubles, the mirrored shades, and the yellow monochromatic look are just a ridiculous and fabulous combination.
