When we registered for my baby shower, I didn’t have to add a stroller because my mother in law had bought us a super fancy one before I could even ask! It was very generous of her and also easy for me because I didn’t have to do any research.
I always get asked whether or not it’s worth the price tag and I haven’t been able answer because I’ve never had anything to compare it to!
I'm so excited to finally be sharing some of the photos from my trip to Nantucket last week! My photographer, Julia Dags, and I flew up for one night and two days on one of the most charming places in New England.
We went for two reasons. The first was that Shop Nantucket invited us to the island to explore some of their shops and restaurants (I got the email and was like, "Sign me up!").
Amalia was an easy baby. Despite my own difficulties, she was basically an angel and everyone who came to visit us during her first year was shocked because they never heard her cry. She slept well, ate well, and was generally good natured... We were so lucky with her!
But then she turned one and something shifted big time.
I read for 30 minutes every night before bed. If I skip this part of my bedtime routine, my sleep gets thrown off, so I try hard to never miss it. I like to make sure whatever I'm reading is riveting, and I'm into really intensely emotional stories and/or page turners that I just can't put down.
