I love beach vacations because a "put together" outfit includes throwing on a maxi dress and a floppy hat over your bikini. I wore a version of this outfit almost every day on my vacation last week. It was glorious. This maxi dress is becoming one of my favorites.
I obviously have a lot of work to do in making my work space at home as comfortable and conducive to productivity as possible. Here is what I have so far. I want to upgrade my chair soon and somehow create more storage space within the little room I have. Creating an office in a Manhattan apartment that you share with your husband is not an easy task, folks!
In college, I used to be somewhat if a tanorexic, if you will. I spent four years in Los Angeles and way too much time in the sun. Now that I'm getting older, I'm learning how to better take care of my skin which involves a complex number of serums and creams morning and night, but more importantly involves wearing SPF 50 on my face every single day.
Our vacation has been out of this world incredible so far. Today I arrived in Tokyo to accompany my dad on a business trip and explore the city with his wife and my baby brother. I look forward to taking in a new city, eating amazing Japanese food (already had a surprisingly delicious meal at the airport), and learning a thing or two from the famously fashionable women.
I'm still going strong with this gluten free thang (see brownies from a few weeks ago) and feeling better than ever! I never get too full and I tend to overeat way less. I still crave bready/desserty type dishes so I made this gluten free banana bread for breakfast last weekend and OH MY GOD was I impressed.
