Every spring I purge my home of clutter and excess, and every spring I vow to live a simpler life with fewer, better things. That also happens to be the motto of one of my all time favorite brands.
I'm definitely not supposed to be sharing photos of my updated bedroom yet (the post is going live in two weeks, oops!) but I had to give you a sneak peek of what I've been working on with Prudence for the last two weeks. We completely transformed my master bedroom into a bright and airy space that is so comfortable and feels like it actually belongs to a real live adult.
It's hard to believe that we're well into May given that it was basically winter until last week but here we are and as you can probably tell by my picks for the month, I'm in full on summer mode. Give me all of the striped maxis and sun hats please and thank you.
My actual favorite pick this month are these anchor shorts that look like a skirt.
Let's be honest, I've never been a cool girl. I've always had a touch of dorkiness in me and I wouldn't have it any other way. Super cool "cool girls" used to intimidate me, until I realized, as an adult, that they can be just as insecure and vulnerable as the rest of us. That was one of those big lessons from my 20s was like a giant lightbulb going off.
