I'm convinced that anyone who says they don't like the colder days in New York doesn't have an exciting enough coat collection. I have about 10 fall coats that I switch out daily including a classic Barbour, multiple blazers, a tan trench coat, a fleece Patagonia for weekends, a faux fur vest (of course!), jean jackets, and a delightful red and black plaid cropped jacket.
Every October, bakers, bloggers, foodies, and most humans on the east coast become obsessed with anything made with pumpkin. Pumpkin spice lattes anyone? I am not an exception to this rule. Last year I made pumpkin swirl brownies and pumpkin bread pudding and my mouth is watering just thinking about them. This year, I present to you my first pumpkin recipe of the season: an incredibly moist and flavorful pumpkin bread that is perfect with a mug of hot tea for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

I can't get enough silk blouses lately. They're so comfortable and versatile and always look good whether they're tucked into a skirt or under a sweater with jeans. I love this one from C.Wonder because it's long enough to wear over leggings and the gold buttons are just fab!
