Well it's the first day of spring- technically anyway. I want to be excited but another snowstorm is coming tonight so... cool! I'm trying to be optimistic and manifesting warmer temps after this storm though. I don't know how much more winter (and sick season) we can handle over here. This is the first year where we didn't travel somewhere warm in February or March and it made a huge difference on my mood.
Today I wanted to share Amalia's full bedtime routine because I realized that I've never actually done a post about it. I get a lot of questions about what we do as a nighttime ritual for her, so here it all is in one place. It can be a dicey time of night and it's become kind of sacred to me, so I decided to not share photos from our actual evenings, and I hope you can understand why!
This week was all about doing some of the things that I've been meaning to get done for a while. Whenever March comes around, my spring cleaning urge really kicks in, and I finally organized my pantry after wanting to do it for years. Stay tuned for a blog post on it next week! It's pretty epic.
I've never really been that excited about dressing up for Easter. It's usually freezing cold but everyone is wearing spring dresses, and that is just plain uncomfortable. Cue major goosebumps! Then last year it was 75 degrees and the most beautiful day ever. My sister and I dressed up for church in the prettiest dresses and had the best Easter ever, even eating brunch outside.
