Happy Monday and holy happy holidays. I feel like everywhere I turned this weekend there was a twinkle light winking right at me... and I loved every second of it. All that's missing is the snow... JK I hope it doesn't snow until Christmas Eve and then only stays for like five days. A girl can dream.

Be present. Time seems to be flying by with her and as cliché as it sounds, being present is so important. When I'm with Amalia, I try to really be with her. Obviously sometimes I have to work or do something around the house while she's awake, but I make sure we have many moments each day where my phone is off, and we can enjoy each other's company.
As you may know, I've been updating my gift guide page regularly, but I've gotten an overwhelming amount of requests to create gift guide collages as well so I'll be doing these weekly until Christmas. My first is one of my faves every year: Gifts for the plaid lover. At this point, is anyone not a plaid fan?
This is kind of a random topic, but it's what has been on my mind front and center lately, so I thought I would sit down and organize my thoughts which then turned into a blog post. December is an exciting but stressful month for a lot of people, myself included.
