How to Bake Bread

If you follow me on Instagram Stories, you know how proud I am of my latest accomplishment: Baking my first loaf of bread! It was one of my goals for the year, and I snuck it in under the wire with only a few weeks to spare.

Starting Solids

Whenever I ask anyone about when to start Amalia on solid foods, I get the same answer: Between 4 and 6 months. Well that's a pretty long stretch! She's currently 4.5 months and my gut says she isn't quite ready yet... And one thing I've learned as a mother so far is to always listen to your gut.

My Post-Partum Workout Routine

Since having Amalia, this has been my most requested blog post by far. People ask me on a daily basis how I "lost the weight". To be clear, I'm still not at my pre-baby weight and don't expect to lose it all until I'm done nursing, which is completely fine by me.

I'm also pretty sure my body shape is forever changed, but instead of trying to emulate the celebrities of the world who look like 12 year old girls 6 months after giving birth, I see my post-partum body as the place that built my beautiful baby, and I'm proud of what it did to do that.
