Happy Monday, friends! I took Friday off of work for the holiday and visiting family and spent most of the weekend off of social media, and it felt so nice.

A few days ago I posted an Instagram Story featuring a simple weeknight dinner that I was making. There was a huge response with requests to share the recipe so I'm doing just that today! My Instagram feed, and the Instagram feeds of many bloggers, is filled with colorful outfits with captions like “Sunday brunch!”. But, let’s be honest, what I really wear on the weekends is not fancy. We go for comfort in my house, but try not to look like a family of slobs (although that’s been known to happen too).
