Nostalgic Weekend

My Dad and I drove up to Rhode Island this weekend to move my Grandmother out of the house that she had been living in for the last 25 years. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to a space where I spent every Christmas and Thanksgiving of my life, a space where our family's "pizza night" tradition started, and a space where my sister and I grew up.

Numbers on the Wall

So sorry about my lack of original posts this week. I have been crazy busy trying to work on the next phase of planning our wedding. My mind has been filled with "important" questions so such as should we use a flute and harp vs string quartet during our ceremony, and should we drive away in a classic limo or an old school Bentley!

Color Your Wednesday

Our lease is up at the end of March, and Anel and I are planning to move into a new apartment come April 1st. People always hate moving which I understand, but I love two parts about moving. First, I like that I get to go through all of our belongings and get rid of things that we don't need anymore and reorganize the ones that we do.

Green Curry

Inspired by Mrs. Lillien and her images for recipes, I spent the last few hours (yep, hours) in Photoshop, trying to make this green curry recipe look fun. I hope that I succeeded! My friend Arielle inspired me to make the recipe on the back of the Thai Kitchen green curry paste bottle, and it was even better than I imagined.

Dresser Detox

I do a deep closet and dresser cleaning usually about once/month. I realize that sounds completely insane but it is the only way that I feel like I know where all of my clothes are, not to mention if I want to make room for all the new things I buy, I have to let go of the old ones.
