Before I get into today's post, I have to mention the fact that I can't even with my hair in these photos... I didn't realize how bad it was until it was too late! So disregard the hair and focus on the adorable pineapple dress of my dreams. The best part is that when we were shooting this in Florida last week I asked Anel how my hair looked, and he responded with "Looks great!" Men...

It feels like Amalia has grown up more this month than in any past month. Maybe it's because she's eating solid foods (not just purées) and looks so grown up doing it, maybe it's because she's standing up and crawling and try to escape her crib, and maybe it's because her face has changed to look less like a baby and more like a little toddler.
Spring has finally sprung in Connecticut and you better believe I'm swapping out all of my winter clothes ASAP. I never want to look at my heavy sweaters again!! I started the switch yesterday and was reminded of all my favorite preppy summer dresses in the process. I wore one of them in Florida and it felt so good to just throw it on with a pair of Jacks and call it a day.
Last night we got home from our first official family vacation and it was magical! We've traveled a many times with Amalia with family and with friends, but this was the first time where it was just the three of us with no agenda other than enjoying each other and the sunshine.
We decided to go back to Sarasota, Florida after a great babymoon.
Greetings from sunny Sarasota, FL! Anel and I are so excited to be on our first real family "vacation" aka "family trip", let's be honest. Today is his birthday and we decided to spend it, and the whole weekend, somewhere warm with our little family.
