Fall in New Hampshire

Every year around this time, Anel and I drive up to my dad's house in New Hampshire for a weekend of fall fun... unfortunately we chose a pretty rainy couple of days this year! We got a few hours on Satuday where the rain held up, so we carried on our usual tradition of visiting Cedar Circle Farm for some pumpkin picking and maple-latté drinking.

Fall Capsule Collection

Happy Friday, friends! I'm so excited to be road-tripping up to New Hampshire with Anel to visit my family for a true fall weekend. Every year in October, we go up for some real leaf peeping, pumpkin picking, and cozy meals at home.

With this tradition on the horizon, I've been thinking about what has stayed constant for me, year over year, fall after fall: I bake the same treats (paleo pumpkin bread, anyone?), do the same activities (apple picking and the likes), and wear the same looks (plaid on plaid on more plaid).

It's scary for me anyway.

Sweater Dress

Something weird is happening in New England. It's been in the 80's for the last two days... but it's October. I'm so confused! It is cold in the mornings and evenings but mid-day when the sun beats down, it feels almost like summer. Layering has become even more necessary than usual. I was excited to be able to wear this short-sleeved sweater dress (more sizes available in grey/navy) one last time without layering a turtleneck under it before winter hits.
