I get asked more about my high chair than anything else on Instagram these days. Oh how times have changed! It used to be all nail polish colors and outfit advice. Since high chairs are kind of a big purchase and there is so much conflicting advice out there, I thought I'd write a full review of our Oxo Tot Sprout high chair.
We've had two gorgeous days in Connecticut over 60 degrees this week which is basically unheard of in February. Yesterday it got up to 73! I took a walk on the beach with a friend last night and there were kids in bathing suits... In February. What is going on? Climate change? Yes. But does it feel so so good?
Before I had a baby, I'd hear my mom friends talk about their "mom guilt" all the time. I would nod my head and try to empathize, but really had no idea. Sure, I felt guilty for leaving the dog at home alone for too long a few times, but that's about it.
I couldn't, for the life of me, fathom why it was so hard to let a babysitter put down their babies for one night or why they felt bad about leaving the kids with their dad for a day.
I was so nervous to wear this outfit and post these photos today, but I'm so glad I did because bodysuits are my new favorite thing ever. I just bought my first one a few weeks ago, and it took me that long to actually put it on. The act of getting dressed in it was hilarious and reminded me of putting a onesie on my daughter, but once you pull on a great pair of jeans over it, it's no longer reminiscent of baby clothes.
