As my husband and I are looking at houses in Fairfield County, one thing that I've been taking note of as we see house after house is the door situation. I try to picture the home after I've painted the door a bright red or shiny lacquered black (currently the frontrunners) and it makes me so much more excited about each property.

Last weekend was my first time in Provincetown, the furthest point out on Cape Cod (which makes for quite the drive!). Like the rest of the Cape, it was adorable, manicured, and fairly touristy.
