I don't wear a lot of dresses or skirts. Last winter I got so sick of my boot and pant/legging combo that I vowed to change it up this year. I generally tend towards comfort so if I'm going to wear a dress all day to work, it has to be loose and flowy but structured enough to look professional.

Last week, I invited seven of my best blogger pals out to Greenwich for a private shopping event at the beautiful and newly renovated J.McLaughlin store at the top of Greenwich Ave. We roamed the store, picking out fall pieces, like this fantastic cashmere poncho, which is equal parts soft and chic and my new favorite leggings.
