This year has been eventful for me to say the very least. At the beginning of the year, I had just started a new job with a healthy snack start-up that hadn't even launched yet. My husband and I were living in a shoebox-sized apartment in Manhattan, and I was still running my online shop.
The past 6 days have been a slow-moving, lazy, relaxing, gluttonous blur. We've left my mom's house only a handful of times and are now cooped up at my dad's for Christmas number 2 (One of the only perks of having divorce parents!).
In a few days, my husband and I will head up to Maine to spend New Year's Eve with my college friends and their husbands (man I feel old saying that!). These people are my best friends in the whole wide world and with them, I never have that dreaded NYE let-down.
