The other day as I was reading to Amalia, I had the idea for a new series: "Our 10 Favorite Books". I'm planning to post a list of our current favorites every few months.
Reading with my parents is something that I remember doing vividly from a very early age, so we started reading to A very early on, maybe at two weeks or so.

All of my giveaways in my 2017 holiday giveaway series so far have had a "one for you, one for me" aspect which is always important, but even more during this time of the year. Today, however, I really wanted to host a giveaway that is all about buying yourself something amazing.
I've had my eye on this plaid skirt for a long time. I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. The price was definitely right ($44) and I thought it would be so cute for holiday dinner parties and such. When I got it, I was a little disappointed because it was longer in person than in the photos, but I ended up hiking it up and wearing it at my waist and it fit a lot better.

For today's mom talk post, I want to talk about the glamorous topic of spit up. Last week I asked my Instagram followers what they did for their spit-uppy babies and got well over 400 responses. It was amazing, and I felt so grateful to have such an amazing community of moms by my digital side.
