This has been a cold and crazy winter for me. I'm a new wife, I quit my job, and have committed to running a full time business. It's all so scary and new but the exhilarating excitement outweighs how terrified I am. Lemon Stripes has kept me sane and grounded and I want to give a special shout out to Rebecca for taking picture of my outfits all season long!
After I saw the Glitter Guide feature on the apartment of Bradley Agather, I became obsessed with how she featured Cocoa and Hearts in her bedroom on either side of her headboard. I've always wanted a Cocoa and Hearts painting but they are currently sold out so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I can't believe it's almost April, and I couldn't be more excited for springtime! I love how giddy it makes everyone in the city, sunshine after 5pm, brunches outside, running along the East River, skirts without tights, tulips, sandals, asparagus and berries, not wearing hats and gloves, and the prospect of summer coming around the bend.
A few weeks ago, I became obsessed with the Paleo blondies at Hu Kitchen. They seriously taste as buttery and delicious as the real thing but they're gluten free and made with coconut palm sugar. I wanted to make something similar so decided to check out Elana's Pantry in search of a recipe.
