Tokyo in Photos

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you definitely know that I've spent the last 5 days in Tokyo, exploring the city's colors and cuisine. It was such a whirlwind adventure. I felt out of place the entire time because almost no one spoke English and the city is gigantic! We did everything from visiting the Tsukiji fish market (and ate the freshest sushi there of all time) to strolling around under the Sakuras (cherry blossoms), to shopping in the super hip Harajuku neighborhood, to eating all sorts of new foods (sea urchin was a first!).

Gifted Three Dots dress, Prada sunglasses, hat bought in Positano on my honeymoon

I love beach vacations because a "put together" outfit includes throwing on a maxi dress and a floppy hat over your bikini. I wore a version of this outfit almost every day on my vacation last week. It was glorious. This maxi dress is becoming one of my favorites.

In college, I used to be somewhat if a tanorexic, if you will. I spent four years in Los Angeles and way too much time in the sun. Now that I'm getting older, I'm learning how to better take care of my skin which involves a complex number of serums and creams morning and night, but more importantly involves wearing SPF 50 on my face every single day.

Indonesia in Photos

The view from our villa in Bintan

Our vacation has been out of this world incredible so far. Today I arrived in Tokyo to accompany my dad on a business trip and explore the city with his wife and my baby brother. I look forward to taking in a new city, eating amazing Japanese food (already had a surprisingly delicious meal at the airport), and learning a thing or two from the famously fashionable women.
