Our vacation has been out of this world incredible so far. Today I arrived in Tokyo to accompany my dad on a business trip and explore the city with his wife and my baby brother. I look forward to taking in a new city, eating amazing Japanese food (already had a surprisingly delicious meal at the airport), and learning a thing or two from the famously fashionable women.
I'm still going strong with this gluten free thang (see brownies from a few weeks ago) and feeling better than ever! I never get too full and I tend to overeat way less. I still crave bready/desserty type dishes so I made this gluten free banana bread for breakfast last weekend and OH MY GOD was I impressed.
When I get dressed, I tend to go big or go home. If I want to wear red, I'm going to wear RED. Same goes for pink, green, and yellow apparently.
I have this pair of jeans in 4 colors which helps me to build a base of a very monochromatic look. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for one color or another (mostly pink, let's be honest).
One way that I beat the winter blues is by wearing bright colors and fun patterns on the coldest and grayest of days. I got these yellow flats and patterned pants at a recent Old Navy sale and they've both become quick favorites in my closet.
