Well we officially survived our first road trip with the baby this weekend and it went so much better than we ever could have anticipated. While she didn't sleep all that much in the car, she didn't mind being there at all and was super chill. I was more of a mess than her because I was worried about her missing her naps...

Life Lately: Volume 30

Happy Friday, friends! A few exciting things happened this week in my world:

1. Amalia slept through the night. Like 7pm to 7am (I had to wake her up at 7:15 actually) slept through the night. She had been consistently sleeping until 6 or 6:30 but when we woke up at 7:15 on Thursday morning and she was still asleep, we freaked out!

5 Nutritionist Approved Protein Bars

Anel and I are always looking for good snacks that we can take on-the-go. I always get hungry in the car, and he needs something to grab quickly between clients at work. Paleo Pumpkin Bread

Last fall my sister sent me a recipe for a paleo pumpkin bread that sounded pretty good, but when we both made it that week, we quickly learned that it was really good, something that's not easy with paleo baked goods. Each of us baked it multiple times last fall, so when she reminded me of it again last week, I got so excited!
