I remember when my mom turned 38 and I thought she was so old. I joke about pushing 40, but besides the fact that I fall asleep before 10pm every night and have a few more wrinkles every year, I don't feel old. I feel vibrant, happy, and more alive than ever. And, honestly, I'm excited for the next decade of life!
We've had a lot of excitement around these parts since I last Life Lately'd. Last weekend we took a little day trip to Lake Compounce with Amalia and her pals and had the most fun day I've had in ages. I'll share a full blog post about it next week, but it was one of those days that made me feel like a little kid again, rushing down water slides with a giant grin on my face.
Last night we were running low on groceries and I wanted to use up what we had in the fridge. I found a bunch of asparagus and a head of broccoli and had the thought to make a green-goddess inspired soup.
I looked up a few recipes but didn't have a lot of the ingredients on hand so made this one up and it turned out incredible!
Over the last few weeks I've been adding even more fun brands and products to the Lemon Stripes Market. The one thing I'm most excited about right now is the new Owala 40 oz tumbler that looks like the Stanley cup but is somehow even cuter. I just ordered one to test it out for myself!
