I've been wearing my orange and pink silky color-block H&M dress (#4) obsessively since I bought it 2 weeks ago. It is the perfect summer frock: light, colorful, fun, and super flattering. I never would have paired these two colors together, but once I did, I've started to see it everywhere. It feels so Miami against a see of black in Manhattan.
My Weekend in Photographs
This weekend I watched balloons fly in the sky while simultaneously getting sunburned, ate a lot of strawberries, kept my coffee table glamorously dry, and felt like the most special girl in the world. Here it is, in photos!
{a purple balloon soaring over central park}
{Fresh and fragrant strawberries from the Upper West Side farmer's market}
{Anel with his new 1920's camera from a flea market}
{My new gold coasters that look like lemon slices}
{Nothing beats coming home to beautiful flowers from the man you love!}
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Nutella Cookiewich
I had some leftover Nutella from my last batch of Nutella Sea Salt Cookies that I couldn't let go to waste. Instead of making more of the same, my boyfriend suggested making "sandwiches"- cookies as the bread and Nutella as the filling. This brainchild of his sugar-addicted mind was pure genius. I think the picture speaks for itself.
Empire State of Mind
It was 86 degrees and humid this week in New York but I discovered a refuge from the heat in the city... 86 stories up in the air, on top of the Empire State Building. It was amazing to see my own city from an incredibly new perspective. It helped me realize that my daily personal dramas pale in comparison to all of the chaos of New York City.
