Today I am taking Amalia on a surprise road trip and overnight to Philly to visit my sister and her cousins. She had no idea she was going to miss school which made the surprise so much better! I love the idea of doing things like this every year or season that she'll (hopefully) remember for a very long time.
In my decluttering chaos (organized chaos), I've had a lot of interesting revelations about how we live as a family, what we actually use in our home, and how I dress myself. As I was taking a second pass over my closet last weekend, I realized that despite having way too many clothes (I've since cut the amount in half), I reach for the same pieces over and over again.
Two weeks into the year and I finally have this post live. I got sick and then caught up in my insane decluttering project but here we are. It was tough to pick our top kid picks for the year but this list is pretty solid if I do say so myself.
It includes some back-to-school favorites, utensils, cozy slippers, Luca's favorite weighted blanket, and so much more.
Well I am finally coming back to life today after a week of feeling like a dumpster fire. I finally went to the doctor on Tuesday and found out I have a double ear infection (yes, like a toddler) which was why my head was throbbing for the last two weeks. My bad, I definitely should have gone earlier.
