Today is an emotional one in my house. It's Amalia's last day of school at the preschool she's been at since she was two. It has been the most wonderful place for our family and I've already cried 3x this week knowing that her time there is over. I give the teachers and the director a lot of credit for helping to build her confidence and come out of her shell.
It's done it's done it's done! I will share all of our siding before and afters next week (with a lot more detail on this space) but I wanted to share our beautiful back patio today. This outdoor space is so perfect for my family and one of best investments we've made in our house so far.
We're heading on our yearly summer family vacation to Martha's Vineyard next week so I have G&T's on my mind. My dad always makes one for each of us as a pre-dinner cocktail and it brings back memories of many summers past! I never think to make one for myself but I was at a party recently and they were serving them with muddled (I think?) cucumbers and it made me want to make this classic summer cocktail in a few fun ways.
