The Amalfi Coast

{looking out at the view from our hotel}

Last week, my husband and I returned from the most magical honeymoon ever! We spent over a week at Palazzo Avino in Ravello, a small town on the Amalfi Coast. Then we went to Bosnia so that I could meet his extended family for the first time (more on that later this week!). In Italy we ate incredible food at every meal, relaxed while enjoying the stunning vistas of the coast, drank good wine, and fell in love with each other even more as we fell in love with Italy.

Naturally, we have approximately 1 million photos, but here are a few of my favorites.

{fried calimari and zucchini at a restaurant we could only get to by private boat}

{a giant lemon from amalfi. i had to!}

{prosecco. at sunset. on a boat driving away from capri. sigh.}

{i bet you can guess which pair of loafers i bought in positano}

{a pistachio profiterole and delizia al limone}

{a quiet moment- reading my book and taking in the view}

{our breakfast every morning}

{happy and relaxed husband and wife!}

    “Do you know the land where the lemon-trees grow,
    in darkened leaves the gold-oranges glow,
    a soft wind blows from the pure blue sky,
    the myrtle stands mute, and the bay-tree high?
    Do you know it well?
    It’s there I’d be gone,
    to be there with you, O, my beloved one!”
