Working for a start up requires me to attend constant meetings with our developers, PR company, and investors all over the city. I have to carry my lap top to all of them and my shoulders were starting to get seriously sore.
Luckily I have an incredibly thoughtful husband who bought me this chic yet durable Madewell leather backpack for Christmas. It makes hopping in cabs, walking for blocks, and riding subways all around town so much easier, and my shoulders are seriously thanking me.
I really think that backpacks are making a comeback. It’s been such a positive change, I highly suggest getting one for yourself!

I love backpacks, especially leather ones like yours (swoon!) but I’m hesitant as it’s so easy to get pick pocketed/robbed with one? Especially on a packed subway. Maybe I’m paranoid! 🙂
It’s a really good point! I usually take it off on the subway and carry in over my arm/in front of me. I’m not worried about it walking down the street though.
