I’ve been seeing some of my favorite bloggers (uhhh including myself 2 days ago!) posting fall looks lately which is making me horribly depressed but at the same time way too excited. I get it, fall is around the corner, and like everyone else, I am excited for boots and sweaters. But at the same time, I’m holding onto summer for as long as I possibly can!

I’ve written a lot about how I overbooked myself this summer and my husband and I keep talking about how ready we are for everything to die down come September. Where there is less travel and more time to relax and actually enjoy where we live.

That being said, in the meantime I plan to soak up August to it’s fullest with beach days, lobster rolls, and getting the most out of my summer wardrobe. I just added this blue and white dress (only $46!) to the crew because I can wear it everywhere from work to brunch to date nights.

Last Thursday night I really didn’t feel like cooking, and Anel suggested we go out last minute to Bartaco, one of our favorite weeknight restaurants in Stamford. I threw on this easy look for our impromptu date night and 3 people at the restaurant complimented my dress!
