By reader request, today’s re-wear it post features the product that gets the most wear in my closet in the fall and winter, my Dudley Stephens park slope turtleneck. I have it in multiple colors, but this one is camel. The camel color will be back in stock on December 2nd. But they just restocked blackย and natural blush.
I met Lauren, one of the founders of DS, at a local restaurant one day and we became fast friends. She hired me for a sponsored Instagram post about 100 years ago and the second I put on her fleece I knew the addiction was about to become real. Since then I feel like a spokesperson for the brand because I wear it so often!
The most commonly asked question I get is about sizing. I wear an XS in the Cobble Hill style because I like the longer part to be more fitted (although it makes the sleeves a bit tight) and an S in Park Slope. I normally wear Cobble Hill with leggings around the house or on weekends and you can see 4 ways that I style Park Slope here. If I could only pick one it would be Park Slope because I think it’s more versatile.
Throughout the post, I’m wearing my Karen Walker Super Duper sunglasses. I always get asked about them and if they’re worth the price. I’ve had mine for the better part of a decade so I’d say yes but these $11 dupes are pretty great too.
I had so much fun styling and shooting this post yesterday. I hope you love it!
To be clear about my relationship with DS: They do not pay me to post but they occasionally gift me fleeces. I also buy my own and love supporting this incredible brand run by two of my friends who I adore.
Outfit 1: The Everyday Lewk
It’s very hard for me not to wear some variation of this outfit every day from September-March. I have to basically force myself to put on other clothes otherwise this is all you would see. I change up the shoes from booties to flats to slides to snow boots and sometimes jeans turn into leggings on lazy days but this is what I would call my fall and winter uniform.

Outfit 2: The Houndstooth
This was my favorite outfit from last fall, so I re-created it with the camel fleece and my leopard booties for a very 2019 Lemon Stripes look. I would wear this to a marketing client meeting or out to dinner with friends. I’m not the kind of person to wear head to toe neutrals but when there are multiple patterns involved, I can get behind it.

Outfit 3: Hippie With a Side of Gucci
I love wearing flowy dresses with sweaters over them. I think it looks better on my body type if I also use a belt and tuck the sweater into it. To achieve this look, I fold the bottom of my fleece under itself and tuck it in around the whole belt which makes the dress look more like a skirt. It’s one of my favorite DS tricks. I also did it in this post but with a skirt.

Outfit 4: Rawr
Here we have my suburban mom “going-out look” for date nights and girls nights out. If you’ve been following along for a while you know I have an affinity for leather leggings and over-the-knee boots. Throw some leopard into the mix and you have me feeling my best!
