The last few days have been a never ending birthday celebration. If I had any concerns about turning 30, I would never have known because I was so busy celebrating! On Thursday night, some friends and I went out for drinks at the Standard followed by a tipsy dinner in the East Village. There were many highlights of the evening but I was absolutely shocked when my husband and sister gave me a classic Chanel 2.55 black bag, something that I’ve only ever dreamed of owning. I’m never surprised but I was this time!

On Friday we drove up to NH and had a beautiful dinner with my mom and her husband at Pine Restaurant. When we came home, she gifted me with a beautiful pair of diamond earrings and I officially felt spoiled.

Saturday night my dad and his wife threw me a BBQ with friends and family to officially end birthday-mania. It was a beautiful night with good food, amazing wine from my birth-year (apparently ’85 was a great year for Bordeaux).

But maybe the best part of the entire birthday was when Heather from the Real Housewives of New York retweeted me. Life goal = met!
