Almost every week in my Monday Q&A, someone asks me to share a food diary so I figured this was a good time to start! Red Shoes

Short weeks are funny, aren't they? There is always so much to do but they fly by so quickly. Yesterday was rough getting back into the swing of things and the jet lag didn't help! I managed to pump out a bunch of work, answer over 70 emails, unpack, do the laundry, grocery shop, go for a run with Boots and still manage to get in bed by 9:30.

Seattle

And just like that, summer is over. I can't believe how quickly the summer went by but I'm grateful that this week in Connecticut is still going to be hot and sunny for the most part. Speaking of hot and sunny... Seatttle was not that at all. Although the afternoons were sunny, they were definitely still a little chilly and the mornings were downright freezing and gray.

Four Years

I can't believe that tomorrow is our four year wedding anniversary. Anel and I got married at a relatively young age (I was 27 and he was 26!) four years ago in Newport, RI. While I want to say that it gets easier as time goes by, that would be a lie. This year has been the hardest one not only of our marriage but of our entire relationship.
