Soft Plaid Dress

All the bloggerz are talking about fall transition pieces this week and I felt left out so here's my take on the matter... Kidding! I took these photos a week ago. Who's ahead of the trend now? Clearly it's late as I'm writing this.

Anyway, last Labor Day weekend, I wore a plaid dress (woah, remember how long my hair was?) and realized that I'm unintentionally doing it again this year, making it officially one of my top fall transition pieces.

What’s in my Guest Bathroom

Now that we have a house with a real guest room (that has it's own bathroom), we get quite a few overnight visitors. As much as I hate to admit it, fall is sneaking up on us swiftly as it always does so I'm trying to prepare my closet for the inevitable change in season.

Travel Wrap

Despite a promise to myself that we would travel less this summer, it has been yet another whirlwind of road trips and cross-country flights culminating with one last jaunt to Seattle next week for my cousin's wedding (recommendations welcome!). Even though it's been a fun and exciting few months, I'm ready to spend a little more time at home this fall to enjoy the feeling of being in one place for more than a week.
