Holy summer heat, you guys! Yesterday it reached 86 degrees and, of course, the brand new central air in our house stopped working. I cannot even tell you how hot it was. Because I work from home, it was like a special place in hell.
Later this week, CBS is coming over to film some of the rooms of my home for a piece that they're doing on my design firm. While my living room has been done for a while, the entryway table (across from the actual living room) had been bugging me. It looked great but didn't feel styled or fully pulled together.

Happy Memorial Day friends! I couldn't be more excited for the upcoming season. Last year we traveled almost every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day so this year we intentionally said "no" more than usual (something that is hard for me) so that we can enjoy our first summer in the new house with friends, family, and lots of BBQs.
Happy Memorial Day weekend, friends! Anel and I are driving up to New Hampshire today to spend the long weekend with my family and attend my dad's annual Memorial Day BBQ which is always so much fun. I'm hoping the weather holds out so I can dress for summer.
