Coconut Lentil Curry

I'm starting another juice cleanse on Tuesday so this weekend I've had to be very careful about what I eat. But last night I was sick of brown rice and kale (apparently one CAN overdo it!) so I went to my favorite recipe hotspot, 101 Cookbooks, to find a solution. I came across this recipe which was different than anything I've ever made but somehow comforting and familiar at the same time.

Seersucker for Summer

You can't spend a summer in New England without some serious seersucker in your life. These tiny stripes have continued to stay in style for decades and come back to life every year when the weather warms up. Chocolate “Milk” Shake

Last night my sister came over for a break from her grueling study schedule for finals. I remember those college days... I made her a healthy dinner of brown rice and vegetable stir fry, a fresh arugula salad, and tamari-marinated chicken.

Upon finishing her meal, she immediately asked for dessert. Anel and I are trying to eat less sugar this month so my pantry was pretty sparse in the sweets department.
