Well hello again and happy Friday to those who celebrate. We kicked off the week with a fun little bout of RSV (Luca) and bronchitis recovery (me) and my poor little guy has been home ever since. The good news is that his cough is a lot better so the scary part is over, the bad news is that he feels miserable and it's so sad to see.

My dad's wife, Jennifer, is an amazing cook. But one of my favorite things she makes is so simple and so delicious, it will truly be the star of any party. Her roasted holiday nut mix is salty, slightly sweet, crunchy, and infused with shallots that really take it up a notch. I promise you, everyone will love this and it's pretty simple to make.
