Two years ago, when I was still posting my sustainability challenges (I know I know I need to bring them back!) I shared a bunch of our swaps for cleaner cleaning products. A lot of what we use is still the same today but we've made a few swaps here and there so I thought I'd share an updated list.
Summer has hit the Northeast hard, fast, and early which is both amazing on a personal level and terrifying on a global level. Nevertheless, my children are none-the-wiser and have been fully enjoying the beautiful weather with lots of time outside on our new patio, playing with the water table, and trips to the beach. I love seeing them so happy playing outside.
I love a pretty laundry room. Half of my pins on Pinterest and saved Instagram posts are coastal, light-filled spaces for washing clothes. Enter my very long, skinny, basement-y laundry room and my conundrum: What can we do to brighten this up and give it a little face lift?
As you can see below, the before wasn't terrible but it just looked messy all the time.
It has been beautiful for most of the last week and we're expecting temps in the high 80s this weekend which means we might just have our first beach day this weekend! I already broke out the beach towels and chairs and am ready to get out there.
I've been taking advantage of the weather and getting out for runs almost every day.
