When to Send a Thank You Note

Ginger Jar Stationary c/o / Gold Pens / Pencil Cup

As a kid, my mom taught me to write thank you notes when I received gifts. After my birthday and Christmas, I remember the feeling of my wrist cramping up from the process. Today, I still try to write thank you notes for every gift I receive, but I've also learned that saying a formal thank you for other occasions is a gesture that can go a long way.

Sleeveless Sweater

Coming off the heels of a week-long vacation is never easy. The transition back to the real world can be jarring and downright depressing, but we're traveling home from Martha's Vineyard today so I'm just going to go ahead and put all that off until tomorrow, k?

36 Hours in Nantutcket

Our trip to Nantucket last weekend was short but oh so sweet. As I mentioned earlier this week we were there with the amazing Lands' End team to see the Boston Pops perform on Jetties Beach to raise money for the on-island hospital. It was a magical evening full of music, a fireworks show, endless glasses of rosé, and an appearance from Kenny Loggins!

Popcorn Donuts

Sometimes, Anel and I just want a night in. We travel a lot and are constantly on the go so a movie night at home can often be just what the doctor ordered. I try to up the game and make our nights at home epic by lighting a bunch of candles for a scary flick or making a fun movie-theater inspired snack.

White Romper in Nantucket

Happy Monday! We had a beautiful weekend in Nantucket, and I can't wait to share much more about the trip later this week. The island created a stunning backdrop for everything we did and I was truly sad to be heading home. We were there with Lands' End to see the Boston Pops perform on the beach but packed in lots of other fun activities (and meals, of course) including renting a scooter to ride around the island.
