A few months ago, I wrote about living with anxiety and how crippling it can be. I'm proud to say that I've made some great strides since then, with therapy, to live a calmer life. Anxiety is something that I'll live with for the rest of my life, but learning how to manage it and pinpointing my triggers has been monumental.
On Friday, I was driving back from an event in the city and stuck in serious weekend traffic. Instead of letting it get to me, I decided to finally listen to Oprah's podcast, SuperSoul Conversations, after hearing great things about it. I started with the episode in which she interviews Amy Schumer, and was blown away.
Like any new mom, I take a lot of pictures of my baby. Because of what I do for a living, I probably take more than average! But never have I seen a series of photos that captures Amalia and her personality so well. The photographer who took her first set of "school" photos caught her in action and on the move without any blur which I've learned is nearly impossible based on my millions of tries.
