I always knew how awesome these products were but only recently started using Sprout's peppermint lip balm.
When I wore this outfit to work yesterday, my coworker commented that I had a "fabulous power bun" which I got a kick out of. So many people have emailed me asking for a tutorial on the bun donut so I'll get around to that soon but first I want to showcase this look.
I don't post a lot of nighttime outfits on my blog because 1. I don't really go out all too often (old married couple syndrome) and 2. My photographer is around during office hours! That being said, I do like a good night out on the town once in a while and I like to feel like a babe while I'm out.
I wore this outfit yesterday and everywhere I went, my coworkers and friends had all kinds of amazing and positive reactions about the aggressive amounts of pink that made up the ensemble. The combo of a pink shirt, sweater, and pants seems like an unlikely and over the top look, especially paired with leopard print flats, but somehow it actually works.
Over the weekend, two separate people told me that they successfully made brussels sprout hash which made me crave the sweet and hearty flavor of the vegetable that is notoriously hated by children world-wide. My friend Clea inspired me by mentioning her recipe of brussels sprouts with apples and maple syrup. My mouth literally watered when she talked about it.
