Last weekend we were invited to a black tie surprise birthday party for a friend of ours. Because it was at someone's home and wasn't a wedding, I figured a fun black jumpsuit would be a fun little twist. I was definitely the only one there not in a dress, but I also got more compliments on my look than ever before!
Breakfast is a hectic time in my house these days. Anel is usually rushing out the door for work, and I’m trying to pack in my morning routine before the baby wakes up. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for breakfast.
If I don’t eat first thing, I get cranky and hungry really quickly, but sometimes even spending 10 minutes making a meal isn't an option.
I love sending out our holiday cards every year, but this year's card is definitely our best yet. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out so I thought I'd share all of the deets with you.
The Cards
Our cards were custom designed by Carrie & Seash, an amazing mother/daughter team who also painted some animal prints for Amalia's room a few months ago (now available for sale).
Christmas is in exactly two weeks and this year I'm feeling more excited than ever (as you can see by my expression above). Obviously I'm excited to spend it with my sweet girl and our little family, but I'm also working really hard until then so that I can actually take a few days off, something that I rarely do.
