I am feeling very excited about some of my fall purchases and wanted to share them with you. I saw Kendall at an event earlier this week and bought the jumpsuit she was wearing straight from my phone. It was very cute in person and a perfect throw-on situation.
I also bought this woven tote (currently on sale!) for my fall/winter bag that I've had my eye on for a year now.
I've spent a lot of time thinking about, writing about, and making changes in my life around emotional labor and the mental load of motherhood.
But I saw a video a few weeks ago about the unseen or physical invisible load that I haven't stopped thinking about ever since. Not just the thinking and planning but the actual doing.
We are finally back from all of our travels and feeling like we're getting into a good groove with back-to-school and starting all of our after-school activities. Amalia has been doing such an amazing job getting acclimated to her new school, new friends, taking the bus, and a whole new routine. We started soccer this week and seeing her in a jersey that fits more like a dress was too cute.
J.Crew just dropped their fall collection and I am so happy to say that they are back in a big way. Since Olympia Gayot has taken over as head designer for women's it feels so much more like the old days of my favorite brand.
I bought two sweaters for fall: This cardigan (in blue) and this v neck oversized but also cropped sweater (in cream) and the fit and fabric is on point in the best way possible!
