Recipes to Make for Easter

A collage of Easter recipe ideas

Easter certainly snuck up on me this year as I’m currently running around town buying last minute basket-stuffers. If you haven’t yet planned out what you’re making for the holiday, check out some of my Easter-approved recipes from the cutest Easter grazing board to one of my all time favorite spring side dishes, green goddess basil couscous!

New York Times carrot cake (gift link): You really can’t go wrong with a classic carrot cake, and so many fun options for decorating!

Lemony Ricotta Pea Pasta: This pasta dish is fresh, bright, tasty, and colorful on a big table.

Easter Grazing Board: I mean, how cute is this?

Italian Easter cookies: A light, not to sweet cookies with a lemony glaze — sounds delicious.

Smashed potato salad with yogurt herb dressing: The best part if this salad might be that it’s packed with protein, a win win.

Marinated goat cheese and strawberry crostini: I know it’s an unsuspecting flavor combo, but strawberries and creamy goat cheese are actually heavenly together!

Herbed lamb with olive butter and roasted tomatoes: A fabulous alternative to an Easter ham.

Garden Bloody Mary: If you’re hosting brunch, our go-to family Bloody Mary recipe never fails. Skip the liquor or use NA vodka if you aren’t a drinker.

Green Goddess Basil Couscous: Herby, tangy, and an all-around crowd pleaser of a side dish right here. Serve it with fish or chicken.

Spring Chicken Pot Pie: A phyllo dough topping for crust makes this green chicken pot pie a breeze.

Asparagus and cheese tart: What is it about a tart that just feels so chic?

Chocolate Bunny Milkshakes: Too sweet and so easy to make!

Green Goddess Soup: I created this soup one night last summer and it’s entered my regular rotation ever since. It’s so tasty, clean, and springy.

Fruit Peeps Kabobs: I made these a few years ago for Amalia and she literally still talks about them. They’re super easy and cute for a kids dessert.

Pizza rustica (gift link): They had me at “deep-dish cousin to quiche.”

Spring pasta with salmon, peas, and dill: We are on a real salmon kick around here these days, so this immediately caught my eye.

Spring Pasta Primavera: Another great pasta option filled with greens and a creamy yogurt-based sauce.
