As my photographer, Rebecca, told me, I'm just not a floppy hat kind of girl. As much as I want to be "city-chic", running around town in high heels and floppy hats, it's just not me and I look ridiculous.

I am, however, a baseball cap girl. It's kind of my thing (see here and here).

Golden Globes Red Carpet Style

OMG I wish I could put into words how much I love awards season. Watching celebs come down the red carpet in the most beautiful dresses ever made makes me feel proud to be a part of the fashion world.

Last night's Golden Globe awards kicked off the season and the there were quite a few looks that were out of this world (and quite a few that weren't, frankly.

Apartment Inspiration

According to my husband, I have issues. I get obsessive about decorating our space and then 6 months to a year later, I want to do it all over again. He's probably right but it's my thing and I can't help it! We were planning to move downtown to a bigger space in April but after many talks over the holidays, we decided to stay uptown in our current apartment and start saving some real money to leave the city and buy a house in the next couple of years.

Breakfast Quinoa

It's so freaking hard to get back into a healthy routine after the holidays. I always tell myself that come January 1st, things will be different. But I can't just stop eating sweets and extra salty food in a day, it takes a few to ween myself off. I finally feel back on track, eating like my normal self and feeling more energetic and less bloated.
